The most serious security hole that has been capped is designated CVE-2020-3947 and is found in both Vmware Workstation and Fusion. In short, there is a vulnerability in the vmnetdhcp component that allows a potential hacker to run malicious code on the host computer.
The other two vulnerabilities have the designations CVE-2020-3948 and CVE-2019-5543, the first of which applies to virtual machines running Linux and the second to an incorrectly configured file in the Windows versions of Vmware Horizon Client, VMRC and Workstation.
