When you have a lot of equipment, a lot of cables also come. Today I have reduced my cables by 20 percent. The funny thing was when I had reorganized my network and all my equipment, I noticed that I had 8 cables that did not supply any equipment but just lay there like dead snakes.
I guess I have unplugged the equipment and then been too lazy to remove the cables. Or I’ve just been nervous about shutting down any other equipment.
Anyway, things got a lot better, but I’m not really done with everything yet. There is a little more cable pulling to be done to minimize the sight of them.
Today I also installed a new network switch for my home network. In addition to that, I have cleaned servers and other equipment.
