Security researchers at Positive Technologies note that a serious vulnerability has been found in some of Intel’s chips that allow hackers to access sensitive information on our computers.
Because the vulnerability exists in the ROMs themselves, the problem of a simple update cannot be solved, but the only secure solution is to get a new computer equipped with the 10th-generation Intel Core processor.
Although the vulnerability itself cannot be addressed, Intel has taken steps to make it more difficult for hackers to exploit it. Thus, users are advised to install the latest security fixes as soon as possible.
